CNC<\/h2>\r\n \r\n

IT \u201eShapertool Origin\u201c is a handheld CNC router with which you can position your .svg drawing virtually on the surface of the wood. The “Shapertool Origin” operates similarly to a conventional carpenter’s router. It features an in-built surface scanner that recognizes the exact position using markers. You can virtually position your .svg drawings on the wood surface through the touch-screen interface, set basic values like drill size and carving depth, and begin the routing process. The router displays the carving direction on the screen while you actively move it over the wood. The device corrects any imprecision within a tolerance radius of about 4 cm. If the path is lost or the router is not balanced, the motor will shut off immediately.\r\n\r\nSoftware:<\/strong> The vector software and the software for the Shapertool Router are available on the computers of the Fablab.\r\n\r\nSafety First!<\/strong> Your safety is our top priority. Always consult the fablab team before using the machine for essential safety information. We organize machine courses upon request to explain all the details of operating the Shapertool Origin safely. Wearing safety goggles is mandatory<\/p>\r\n\r\n \r\n
